The Asics Gel-Kayano 28 MK is the next evolution to the iconic Kayano performance range. Taking on a new leap with integrated Flytefoam Blast midsole material to add for an even more lively, and energetic ride. The innovative updates to this design are primarily focused to improve balance, propulsion, and invoke revolutionised comfort that doesn't sacrifice on durability or protection. Calling upon the same distinctive Gender Specific Cushioning System implemented in it's predecessor, the Kayano 28 employs 3D Space Construction to reduce weight, and accommodate to a more stabilised landing speed and medial deviation. Combining a lower-profile design of the external heel counter, with the full-ground contact outsole to grant your smoothest run yet, with a more comfortable and controlled feel from heel strike to toe-off.

How it fits?

Recommended Size: Fits As Expected For Most People How do we know? Our MyFit 3D fitting technology leverages millions of 3D foot scans and customer purchases, to accurately provide size and fit recommendations.
Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.
Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.
Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.
Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Redesigned engineered mesh upper for multi-directional stretch that improves ventilation and stability. The monosock construction provides a snug, yet adaptive fit for highly comfortable wear.

AHAR sponge rubber is placed in high impact prone areas of the outsole for outstanding durability. The deep forefoot flex grooves provide high traction, whilst the full ground contact construction initiates a smoother ride.

The dual-density midsole material delivers a softer foam layer on top for enhanced comfort, with the Duomax Support System imbedded directly beneath. The Flytefoam Blast technology works to fuel a powerful toe-off for an energetic ride.

Designed with Gender Specific Technology to accommodate gait differences. The 3D Space Construction reduces weight, and prompts stabilising landing speed and medial deviation.
