Features
Upper
By using a waterproof Dura leather Merrell have achieved stability around the foot while a mesh component ensures breathability. Another beneficial feature is the gusseted tongue which provides protection from debris and foreign objects which is essential for off road activities
Outsole
Merrell have used a Vibram® outsole with 5mm lugs at the heel and forefoot. This will ensure that you not only have excellent traction on both wet and dry surfaces but a shoe that still allows flexion at the forefoot
Midsole
To ensure that you have the necessary stability and cushioning for off road activities this shoe uses a Compression Moulded EVA midsole with air cushioning in the heel for shock dispersion and a nylon arch shank for midfoot stability
Interior
To make this shoe not only breathable but also waterproof Merrell have used a GORE-TEX® liner within this shoe which provides greater comfort for outdoor activities
